I've been riding Sleepy Hollow quite a bit, and I always rode clockwise because I liked the long gradual downhill on the Northwest part of the trail. After reading this and running into a few people (not literally) I gave it a shot counter-clockwise last night and you're right, it's a lot cooler going that direction. The long gradual downhill is a very easy climb, and those hills on the backside are a hell of a lot more fun going down.
